Article 810 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA No. 70-1984, provides information with respect to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, location of antenna discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes and requirements for the grounding electrode. a. Use No. 10 AWG (5.3mm2) copper, No. 8 AWG (8.4mm2) aluminium, No. 17 AWG (1.0mm2) copper-clad steel or bronze wire, or larger, as a ground wire. b. Secure antenna lead-in and ground wires to house with stand-off insulators spaced from 4-6 feet (1.22 - 1.83 m) apart. c. Mount antenna discharge unit as close as possible to where leadin enters house. d. Use jumper wire not smaller than No.6 AWG (13.3mm2) copper, or the equivalent, when a separate antenna-grounding electrode is used. see NEC Section 810-21 (j). Quite el tornillo de transporte de la parte inferior del equipo. 2. Conecte un conductor doble RCA-a-RCA desde los enchufes jack L (izquierdo) y R (derecho) de Line Output a las correspondientes entradas de CD de su amplificador. 3. Enchufe el equipo en el cordón de alimentación CA. 4. Pulse el pulsador verde POWER (alimentación eléctrica) para conectar el tocadiscos. 5. Pulse OPEN para abrir el cajón de discos. 6. Coloque un CD, con el lado de la etiqueta arriba, en el entrante circular de la bandeja. Asegúrese de que el disco está centrado dentro del entrante. 7. Pulse PLAY/PAUSE. El cajón se cierra automáticamente y comienza a escucharse el disco. 8. En cualquier momento, puede usted pulsar SKIP para seleccionar diferentes pistas en el disco. 9. Pulse PLAY/PAUSE si desea parar temporalmente la escucha del disco mientras mantiene la toma en su posición actual en el disco. Pulse otra vez PLAY/PAUSE cuando quiera reanudar la escucha. Pulse STOP si desea terminar la escucha y reajustar la toma al comienzo del disco. NOTA SOBRE LA INSTALACION ¡IMPORTANTE! Antes de la instalación, quite el tornillo rojo de plástico de transporte de la parte inferior del equipo. Quítelo girándolo hacia la izquierda 90° y sáquelo de su posición tirando del mismo. No use jamás fuerza para quitar el tornillo; vea además la etiqueta unida al tornillo de transporte. Guarde el tornillo de transporte por si necesita transportar el Tocadiscos de CD alguna distancia (por ej. si se traslada de casa). Para evitar daños es importante volver a colocar el tornillo de transporte. Instale el tocadiscos de Discos Compactos NAD C541i sobre una superficie nivelada y sin vibración. (Una vibración severa, o el funcionamiento en posición inclinada, puede hacer que el tocadiscos no siga bien las pistas.) El tocadiscos se puede colocar sobre otros componentes estéreo con tal que haya ventilación adecuada alrededor del mismo. Si se coloca el tocadiscos en estrecha proximidad a un sintonizador de radio (AM o FM), VCR (grabadora de vídeo), o un televisor, el funcionamiento de sus circuitos digitales puede producir estática que interferiría con la recepción de señales débiles de retransmisión. Si ocurre esto, traslade el tocadiscos de CD alejándolo de otros dispositivos, o póngalo en "off" [desconectar] cuando visione o escuche retransmisiones. CONEXIONES DEL PANEL TRASERO 1. SALIDA DE LÍNEA Conecte un cable desde estos enchufes jack a su amplificador. Enchufe un extremo de un conductor doble RCA-a-RCA en los enchufes jack de salida L (superior) y R (inferior). Conecte el otro extremo del cable a su entrada CD del amplificador de estéreo, o a cualquier otro jack de entrada de "nivel de línea" (tal como las entradas AUXiliary (auxiliares)). NO conecte este cable a los jack de entrada PHONO del amplificador. Las tomas RCA de su NAD C541i están codificadas con colores para comodidad. Rojo y blanco son respectivamente audio de Derecha e Izquierda, y amarillo para la conexión NAD Link y Digital Out. Asegure que los conductores y tomas no estén dañados en modo alguno y que todas las tomas estén firmemente empujadas a fondo. 2. SALIDA DIGITAL OPTICA & COAXIAL En este jack de salida se dispone de la señal de escucha digital. La salida de datos en serie se toma después de la corrección de errores pero antes de la conversión y filtraje de digital a analógico. La salida está aislada del transformador desde los circuitos incorporados de D-a-A. Se puede conectar a cualquier procesador de señal digital que sea conforme al standard Sony/Philips (SPDIF). Para usar la salida digital, conecte u cable desde este jack al "CD Digital" o entrada equivalente de un procesador o grabadora digital. Para conseguir los mejores resultados el cable debe ser un cable coaxial de 75 ohmios del tipo usado para señales de vídeo con un enchufe fónico RCA en cada extremo. (Para distinguirlos de cables similares de enchufe fónico usados para señales audio analógicas, los cables de señal de vídeo y digital muchas veces tienen códigos de color con enchufes amarillos.) 3. CONEXIÓN NAD ACTIVADA/DESACTIVADA El conector NAD-Link se usa para transmitir órdenes procedentes de otros equipos equipados con conectores NAD-Link. Esto permite el control central de un sistema completo y además permite que algunas de las funciones básicas de otros componentes NAD (como un sintonizador, o tocacassettes), que también estén equipados con NAD-Link, se controlen con un control remoto sistema NAD. Para funcionar con tales otros equipos conecte el NAD-Link Out del C541i al NAD-Link In del otro equipo. Los conectores NAD-Link pueden encadenarse en margarita, IN con OUT, de modo que un sistema completo puede controlarse desde las facilidades de control remoto de un equipo. NOTAS: Es aconsejable no conectar NAD-Link si estos equipos tienen incorporado su propio receptor de órdenes de control remoto y están colocados juntos en línea directa de vista con el equipo manual de control remoto.
