ThisapplianceisequippedwitheithertheSuperCleanAirHEPA12filterortheUltraCleanAir HEPA13filter.Thesefiltersarelocatedinthebackoftheappliance.Theyareabletoremove99.5% and99.95%respectivelyofallparticlesdownto0.0003mminsizefromtheoutletair.Thisnotonly includesnormalhousedust,butalsoharmfulmicroscopicverminsuchasdustmitesandtheir excrements,whicharewell-knowncausesofrespiratoryallergies. Note:To guarantee optimal dust retention and performance of the vacuum cleaner, always replace the HEPA filter with an original Philips filter of the correct type (see chapter `Ordering accessories').
